Our team is headed by Stuart Darby, who along with his team, both Front of House and Kitchen Brigade are supported by our Board of Directors to build on our excellent reputation for fine dining and top quality hospitality.

History of The Potters' Club

The British Pottery Manufacturer's Federation Club, or Potters' Club as it's usually referred to, was founded in 1951 to provide facilities for the directors of local pottery companies to entertain their visitors and guests, many from around the world, including royalty and VIPs.

Over time the Club has extended its membership to professional people from all walks of business.

Some of our members include representatives from some of the most famous ceramics brands in the world, as well as other large international corporations and small local companies.

At the heart of The Potters' Club is the food. Dining in unique, comfortable surroundings is what brings members back time and time again. There is nothing like it anywhere in the area.

While menus retain a traditional, classic, and British style — there is a modern twist that gives a contemporary feel to all the dishes served here.

Menus are constantly appraised to ensure standards remain high, using fresh produce and, where possible, locally sourced ingredients. All types of dietary requirements can be catered for.
